Mark your calendars! You’re invited to Currituck County’s new event “Meet the Shelter” on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.! The shelter will have a food truck and other guests.

We are hoping for a great adoption weekend with 1/2 off all adoption fees. Come tour our shelter, meet the staff, and visit our adorable shelter pets!

Join your fellow Currituck employees and citizens to “Help Save Lives” by donating blood on Thursday, May 23, 2024, between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the:

For the best donation experience, it is recommend that  you schedule an appointment, with the Red Cross and enter in the Sponsor Code field: CCGOVT to help us achieve our goal to collect 17 “lifesaving” units of blood.

To streamline your donation experience and save you about 15 minutes visit RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to read the pre-donation material and complete your health history questions. The questionnaire can only be completed on the day of your donation appointment.

To top of your generous donation the Red Cross will be giving out a Tetris and Red Cross t-shirt.
