HISTORIC COURTHOUSE RENOVATION

Currituck County will begin on Monday, April 25, 2022, a renovation project to create a new main entrance at the Historic Courthouse. The construction project is estimated to take about two months to complete.

During construction, the public should enter the Historic Courthouse through the double doors on the east side of the building, closest to the Currituck Sound. The ramp located at the rear entrance will be available for those who need it.

All visitors are encouraged to make an appointment if you need to meet with county staff.
