Beach Management
The shoreline stability study began on March 2020 and consists of monitoring and assessing the county’s 22.6 miles of beach. This long-term study aims to better understand the changes that are occurring in the beaches and assist the county in making informed decisions regarding beach management.
Dune Vegetation Reimbursement Program
Oceanfront property owners are eligible for reimbursement of the cost to purchase, install and fertilize American Beach Grass plants on frontal dunes.
Sand Fence Reimbursement Program
Oceanfront property owners are eligible for reimbursement of the cost to purchase and install sand fence on frontal dunes.
