Celebrate a century of elegance at Whalehead in Historic Corolla. Built in 1925 as an Art Nouveau retreat for Edward and Marie Knight, Whalehead has become an icon of the Outer Banks.
This October, the centennial celebration features a series of Wednesday evening events. Guests can enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, sip high tea while playing croquet on the lawn, and experience the magic of A “Knight” of Piano with pianist Cathy Kreplin performing on Whalehead’s Steinway in the historic library on October 9, 2025.
The celebration concludes with a Grand Finale on October 29, 2025.
