Our Mission
Currituck County Emergency Management is a vital link to the public and all emergency services providers. Our mission is to provide County residents, guests, businesses and industries, and non-profit organizations with the education and support necessary to reduce the loss of life and human suffering; to minimize property damage; and to protect environmentally vulnerable areas from all types of emergencies through a comprehensive risk-based, all-hazards emergency management program.
