Department of Social Services Board
The Department of Social Services operates under a five member board appointed to three-year terms. Two members are state-appointed, two members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners, and one member is appointed by the Department of Social Services Board.
The present Department of Social Services Board consists of:

The Currituck County Board of Social Services holds its regular meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m., unless otherwise specified below. The meetings are held in the Main Conference Room of the Social Services building.
