Convenience Centers

Currituck County has 8 manned Recycling Centers for residential solid waste collection and recycling only. Each Convenience Center has the capability to recycle many products.

Residents MUST have a Currituck County Access Permit displayed on their vehicle’s windshield when utilizing one of Currituck’s convenience centers.

Transfer Station

The County’s Transfer Station accepts residential and commercial solid waste.

Property owners of Currituck County are subject to the first 500 pounds free if the waste is generated within Currituck County. (This does not apply to commercial haulers.)
