Currituck County has restored water service to all customers located at 101 through 143 Charleston Drive in the Carolina Club community in Grandy, following a water service disruption caused by a broken water line.
During periods of low or no water pressure, there is an increased risk of back-siphonage, which could allow bacteria or other contaminants to enter the water distribution system.
All residents in the affected area are advised to boil water used for:
- Drinking
- Cooking
- Brushing teeth
- Making ice
- Washing hands
Use bottled water or bring tap water to a vigorous boil for at least one (1) minute before using it for any human consumption. Boiling will help eliminate any potential disease-causing organisms that may be present.
This advisory remains in effect until 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2026.
