Commissioners to hold Special Meeting on Aug. 24

The Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, in the Board Meeting Room of the Historic Courthouse, 153 Courthouse Road, Currituck, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting is to consider and approve the appointment of a new Board member to fill the District 5 (Moyock) vacancy on the Board of Commissioners and administer the Oath of Office. Commissioners will also consider implementing and funding a revised salary incentive program for eligible employees.
