Legislative Hearings

1. PB 25-20 Shortcut Farms.  DENIED
   Request for conditional rezoning of 51.7 acres from Agriculture (AG) to Conditional Single-Family Mainland (C-SFM) and Conditional General Business (C-GB) for development of a 33-lot conservation subdivision and 7.23 acres of commercial development fronting Shortcut Road, Tax Map 52, Parcel 21, Crawford Township. The property contains Airport Overlay (AO) District designation, which will remain.
2. PB 26-02 Currituck Way.  DEFERRED
   Applicant requests this item be deferred to the March 16, 2026 Commissioners meeting. Request for conditional rezoning of 20.1 acres from Agriculture (AG) to Conditional Mixed Residential (C-MXR) for development of 20 residential lots, located at Foster Forbes Road, Tax Map 123, Parcels 95 and 95A, Poplar Branch Township.

New Business

1. Recommendation of Award-Currituck Community Park Phase III Baseball-Softball Fields and Authorize County Manager to Execute.  REMOVED FROM AGENDA
2. Demolition Ordinance: 2088 Caratoke Hwy-Gregory, Second Reading.  APPROVED
3. Demolition Ordinance: 2090 Caratoke Hwy-Tucker, Second Reading.  APPROVED
4. Board Appointments
   a. Game Commission: Louis Davis to fill unexpired term ending June 1, 2027. APPROVED
5. Consent Agenda. APPROVED with removal of budget amendments related to New Business #1.
