Commissioner Etheridge’s leave was set to expire on March 1, 2026, but he requested an extension as he continues his recovery. Troy Breathwaite was appointed as a temporary replacement by the Board on November 3, 2025, and is serving as the District 5 commissioner while Etheridge is not available.
