Cool temperatures and low humidity make winter gardening in zone 8 an enjoyable experience. In this class, we will discuss the fantastic possibilities of winter gardening including:
- garden preparation,
- timing, tunnel development,
- and techniques in seed germination
that are specific to winter crops. There are numerous winter flowers and vegetables that perform well in our region. Some examples of these plants are snapdragons, sweet peas, carrots and leafy greens.
