Come join us as we explore the Pasquotank River exploring the diverse ecosystem and the wildlife along the waterway. We will gather at Cooperative Extension – Currituck Center on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 and depart at 9:00 a.m. for Elizabeth City, North Carolina where we will launch the kayaks at the boat ramp.
We will explore the waters and the wildlife as we kayak down the river. We will have a picnic lunch so pack a lunch and snacks for the day. Also bring a change of clothes. We will return by 4:30 p.m.
This program is for ages 8 to 13 and will cost $5.00
Registration is not complete until your child is enrolled in NC 4-H for the 2024 program year. The link to do that is v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in.
We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite at kayakingpasquotank2024.eventbrite.com. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917, within 5 days of registration.
Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
