NOTICE OF HEARING BEFORE THE CURRITUCK COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, sitting as the OCEAN SANDS WATER & SEWER DISTRICT BOARD, on FY 2023-2024 Ocean Sands Water & Sewer District budget.
According to N.C. General Statute §159-12, notice is hereby given that, during a Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the Budget Officer presented the draft FY 2023-2024 Budget to the Ocean Sands Water & Sewer District Board, and the date was set for Public Hearing. The Public Hearing was set to take place on Monday, June 19, 2023, following the Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, which is more than 10 days from date of presentation. The Public Hearing will be held in the Historic Courthouse Board Meeting Room, 153 Courthouse Road, Currituck NC, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as reached, at which time any persons who wish to be heard on the budget may appear. According to N.C. General Statute §159-13, the budget must be adopted not later than July 1, 2023.
Copies of the draft budget are available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk to the Board and online at www.CurrituckCountyNC.gov.
