Celebrate a century of elegance at Whalehead in Historic Corolla. Built in 1925 as an Art Nouveau retreat for Edward and Marie Knight, Whalehead has become an icon of the Outer Banks.
This October, the centennial celebration features a series of Wednesday evening events. Guests will enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes tours paired with lectures highlighting Currituck Sound Hunting Traditions, along with engaging talks and demonstrations from Whalehead curators and museum staff on October 22, 2025.
The celebration concludes with a Grand Finale on October 29, 2025.
