NOTICE OF HEARING BEFORE THE CURRITUCK COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, sitting as the TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, on FY 2025-2026 Tourism Development Authority budget.
According to N.C. General Statute §159-12, notice is hereby given that, during a recess of the regular Board of Commissioners meeting on Monday, May 19, 2025, the Budget Officer presented, in a Special Meeting, the draft FY 2025-2026 Budget to the Tourism Development Authority and the date was set for Public Hearing. The Public Hearing was set to take place on Monday, June 2, 2025, following the Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, which is more than 10 days from the date of presentation. The Public Hearing will take place in the Board Meeting Room of the Historic Currituck Courthouse, 153 Courthouse Road, Currituck, NC, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as reached, at which time any persons who wish to be heard on the budget may appear. According to N.C. General Statute §159-13, the budget must be adopted not later than July 1, 2025.
Copies of the draft budget are available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk to the Board and online at www.CurrituckGovernment.com.
