The Currituck County Board of Elections regular business meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 2025, has been canceled. A special meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. This meeting is required per NC GS 163.31(b), which states: “On the Tuesday following the third Monday in August of the year in which they are appointed, the county board of elections shall meet and appoint precinct chief judges and judges of elections.” The meeting is open to the public.
