The Currituck County Board of Elections will reconvene at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the Currituck County board of Elections Office, 2795 Caratoke Highway, Currituck, North Carolina 27929, to complete a hand recount as requested by Jefferson Griffin, a candidate for the office of Seat 6 of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
The North Carolina State Board of Elections (NCSBE) has randomly selected precincts for each 100 counties. The Whalehead Precinct has been chosen for the hand recount in Currituck County. Members of the public may attend the recount, but space may be limited.
