TAKE NOTICE that members of the Currituck County Board of Commissioners will attend a listening session hosted by the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to receive citizen comments regarding the potential tolling of the Currituck/Knotts Island Ferry.
Should a quorum of the Board be present, the Board will convene a Special Meeting to consider adoption of a joint Resolution opposing NCDOT’s proposed tolls on ferry routes in North Carolina.
The Special Meeting, if convened, will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Knotts Island Elementary School, 413 Woodleigh Road, Knotts Island, North Carolina 27950.
