TAKE NOTICE that members of the Currituck County Board of Commissioners and county staff will host a community meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Currituck Center for Wildlife Education, 1160 Village Lane, Corolla, North Carolina.
A Beach Management Plan Community Engagement Meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by a Corolla community meeting from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for residents and stakeholders to participate in a facilitated discussion about community priorities, goals, and long-term vision as part of the County’s strategic planning process. Feedback gathered will help guide the development of the strategic plan and inform future decision-making, with a focus on housing, infrastructure, economic development, and overall quality of life.
Members of the Corolla community are encouraged to attend to share comments and provide input for consideration. This meeting is one of several being held throughout the county in the coming months.
