Fall Into Fitness Challenge

During the Fall into Fitness Activity Challenge, you will work your way along a virtual route stopping by National Parks, from Acadia National Park and ending at the Smithsonian, by tracking your steps or activity each day. Push yourself harder each day and see what fitness goals you can achieve!

Rules

  • Registration is open, and the challenge starts October 3.
  • Track steps and/or minutes of activities by logging into the challenge site and using the trackers in the “Track Data” tab, or by linking a wearable device.  If you want to track data on your smartphone, you can also download the app.
  • Track data up to 7 days in the past if needed.  Entries beyond 7 days from the activity completion date will be flagged for review and will only be permitted if approved by the Challenge Administrator.
  • Please use the honor system when tracking your activities.
  • A third-party group is monitoring entries and will flag entries that are extremely large or backdated too far.

Tracking Data

Participants can track steps during the challenge in these ways:

  • Use the Enter Steps widget to enter steps from a pedometer or a smart phone manually.
  • Use the Activities widget to enter the minutes that you participate in your favorite fitness activities.  Activity minutes are converted to steps automatically.
  • Link your Fitbit or other wearable device to the challenge and your steps will be entered automatically when you log in.
  • Download the Employee Wellness Hub App (EWH) and enter data or track steps with your phone’s motion sensor or link your iPhone health kit (Apple Watch) or Google Fit app.

5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

The Wellness Committee is excited to bring you the Run at Work 5K with several choices to offer our employees!

  • Choose to RUN or WALK – All are welcome!
  • Choose the 5k or 1 mile route
  • Choose Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. or Friday, October 7, 2022 at 7:30 a.m. (with a rolling start)
