The County of Currituck, North Carolina (“the Owner”) requests bids for
Phase IV – Whalehead Subdivision Public Beach Access Walkover Replacement
– Tuna at Tuna Public Beach Access Walkover in Whalehead Subdivision in Corolla, North Carolina.
Bids will be received by email to Trischa Quinlan, Contracts & Purchasing Agent at Bids@CurrituckCountyNC.gov until 5:00 p.m., local time on Thursday, December 10, 2026. Bids received after this deadline will not be accepted.

The Successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
All bidders must meet the licensing requirements under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes. Small Business Entities, Women Owned Businesses, Minority Owned Businesses, Veteran and Service-disabled Veteran Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, as it may deem to be in its best interest.
Pre-Bid Meeting
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2026 at the
Tuna Walkover
Whalehead Subdivision
Near 1077 Lighthouse Drive
Corolla, North Carolina.
The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, and bidding procedures. Attendance by prospective bidders is not mandatory.
