The County of Currituck requests Statements of Qualifications from interested and qualified firms for professional design and engineering services for the Currituck County Rural Center (CCRC) Bulkhead Repair. These services shall be performed in accordance with all local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, and executive orders.
Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) will be received until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020. Submittals received after this deadline will not be considered.
Responding firms shall submit an electronic copy of the Statements of Qualifications in PDF format to Rebecca Gay by email at email@example.com. The responding firm’s name and the project name shall be clearly displayed in the email subject line and attachment.
It is the sole responsibility of the firm to ensure receipt of the firm’s Statement of Qualifications to the County. Confirmation of receipt by telephone can be made directly to Rebecca Gay at 252-232-6080.
Submittals will be opened and evaluated following the submission deadline.
The County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit qualifications. The County further reserves the right to reject all offers or award a contract which, in its judgment, is in the best interest of Currituck County. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit Statements of Qualifications.
Written questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
To the extent Currituck County determines to respond to questions and requests for clarification, responses and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of a final written addendum, which if issued, will be emailed to all firms holding this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020.
All addenda shall become part of the RFQ.
