A pre-bid conference will be held on-site to review the project and allow access to the site. The pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Whalehead Club at Heritage Park, Corolla, North Carolina. Attendance is not mandatory.
The Project involves the construction of an approximately 1,300 square foot restroom building adjacent to the Historic Whalehead House. It will contain two (2) restrooms (men’s and women’s) and two (2) changing rooms for wedding guest use. The style of the new restroom is to compliment the character of the existing Whalehead structures.

All questions or requests for information must be submitted in writing one week prior to the opening of bids.
This will be an informal bid. Bids will not be publicly opened and read aloud. The bids will be evaluated and contract will be awarded in accordance with the statutory requirements. All bidders must meet the licensing requirements under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statues. Small Business Entities, Women Owned Businesses and Minority Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids.
