FY 2026-2027 ANNUAL BUDGET WORK SESSION
TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Commissioners will hold a Work Session on Monday, June 1, 2026, in the Conference Room of the Historic Courthouse, 153 Courthouse Road, Currituck, North Carolina, to discuss the annual budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. The Work Session will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a discussion of potential impacts and considerations related to the recent North Carolina Supreme Court ruling concerning occupancy tax spending. Currituck County was represented in the matter by outside legal counsel, and counsel will participate virtually to provide information and answer questions. The Board will follow with general discussion of the Fiscal Year 2026–2027 annual budget.
