A boil water advisory is issued for county water consumers in Corolla on Cormorant Trail south of Seabird Way, Cormorant Court, Willet Court, Grackle Court, and Knot Court due to a water line break. Staff have completed making repairs and service is restored.
The advisory is in effect until 7:00 pm on April 19, 2026. Consumers are advised to boil all water intended for human consumption (including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation) or use bottled water. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increases the potential for back siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system.
Vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water.
