TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Commissioners will meet in two work sessions beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, in the Historic Courthouse, 153 Courthouse Road, Currituck, North Carolina. Commissioners will begin in the Board Meeting Room to receive an update on the status of the Mid-Currituck Bridge from the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Upon conclusion, Commissioners will move to the Conference Room for a virtual presentation on the results of an off-road traffic study performed by the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) at North Carolina State University.
Tourism Development Authority
TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting to sit as the Tourism Development Authority (TDA) during a recess of the Monday, April 6, 2026, regular Board of Commissioners meeting. The Special Meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as reached, in the Board Meeting Room of the Historic Courthouse, 153 Courthouse Road, Currituck, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting is to consider budget amendments.
