Save the date for Currituck County’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection! This special event is scheduled for Saturday, April 11.
Collection sites will be located at:
- Public Safety Center, 125 College Way, Barco, NC 27917; 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Southern Outer Banks Water Plant, 734 Ocean Trail, Corolla, NC 27927; 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
This free event allows county residents to safely dispose of common hazardous materials. These include aerosols, antifreeze, batteries, fire extinguishers, propane tanks, pool chemicals, fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides, florescent light tubes, oil-based paints, caulk, wood filler, and adhesives.
