Join us as we explore the waters and migratory birds at Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge in Rodanthe, North Carolina on Thursday, November 6, 2025.   We will gather at N.C. Cooperative Extension – Currituck Center and depart at 9:00 a.m. for Rodanthe where we will launch the kayaks at the park’s boat ramp.  We will explore the waters and the wildlife in the area. Pack a lunch and bring a change of clothes. We will return to the N.C. Cooperative Center by 4:30 p.m. This program is for ages 8 to 14 and the cost is $5.00.

We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Space is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
