TAKE NOTICE that the Currituck County Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., in the 2nd Floor Emergency Operations Center of the Currituck County Public Safety Center, located at 125 College Way, Barco, North Carolina.
The meeting will begin with a luncheon and a discussion on transportation in Currituck County with representatives from the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Following that, the Board will hold a Work Session to discuss:
- Strategic planning
- Economic development
- Advisory boards
- County facilities
The Board will also consider several general business items for possible action.
Finally, the Board will enter a closed session pursuant to N.C. General Statute §143-318.11(a)(5) to establish or instruct staff concerning the position to be taken regarding the lease of county-owned property.
