Currituck County welcomes Noel Gregory, who joined county staff on July 21, 2025, as the Veteran Services Officer (VSO). The VSO is a shared position with Camden County and Gregory will split her time offering services to military veterans residing in both counties.
Gregory is a veteran of the United States Army. She is a certified Veteran Services Officer of the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (NCDMVA). She most recently worked at the NCDMVA office in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
As the Veteran Services Officer, Gregory will help military veterans living in Currituck and Camden counties learn about their earned benefits and file claims with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She will maintain records and monitor claims while coordinating with the VA and other agencies to ensure local veterans receive assistance.
