North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Currituck County is pleased to announce an opportunity for our Private Pesticide Applicators to earn V credits for their Private Pesticide Applicator License. We look forward to you joining us on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Currituck Extension Center for our next ‘V’ credit opportunity. This training will cover the V credit portion of the private applicator license which is required every 3 years.

This will be presented by Chris Hassell, NCDA&CS Pesticide Inspector II. Please register for this event through Eventbrite.

Pesticide license holders with North Carolina Private Pesticide Applicator licenses set to expire in 2025 need to receive 2 hours of X credit and 2 hours of V credit by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) cut-off date of September 30, 2025. License holders have 3 years to receive their credits and can search the Department of Agriculture’s website or call the Extension office to check how many credits you have for the current license period.

The 2025 Northeast Ag Expo Summer Field Day will be July 31, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and you will have the opportunity to receive 2 hours of X credit on attendance. For a list of all our events visit currituck.ces.ncsu.edu/events/.
