TAKE NOTICE that the 6:00 p.m. regular meeting of the Currituck County Board of Commissioners for Monday, August 19, 2024, has been cancelled.  The Board will instead hold a Special Meeting on August 19, 2024, beginning at 4:00 p.m., in the Board Meeting Room of the Historic Courthouse, 153 Courthouse Road, Currituck, North Carolina.  The purpose of the Special Meeting is for Commissioners to receive information for further discussion and consideration of the following items:

• Chandler Thinks Tourism Marketing Presentation
• PB 24-10:  Don Haller Text Amendment
• PB 24-18: Currituck County Text Amendment-Corolla Setbacks Reduction for Multi-family (100’-80’)
• Upper-story Dwellings
• Private Wastewater Systems
• Sand Mines
• Quasi-judicial Proceedings
