NOTICE OF HEARING BEFORE THE CURRITUCK COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS on FY 2024-2025 Budget for Currituck County.
According to N.C. General Statute §159‑12, notice is hereby given that, during a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2024, the Budget Officer presented the draft FY 2024-2025 Budget to the Board of Commissioners and a date was set for Public Hearing.
The date of Public Hearing was set for the Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting on Monday, June 17, 2024, which is more than 10 days from date of presentation. The Public Hearing will take place in the Board Meeting Room of the Historic Currituck Courthouse, 153 Courthouse Road, Currituck, North Carolina, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as reached, at which time any persons who wish to be heard on the budget may appear. According to N.C. General Statute §159‑13, the budget must be adopted not later than July 1, 2024.
Copies of the draft budget are available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk to the Board and online at www.CurrituckGovernment.com.
