Sign-up deadlines are established for each program; in some cases, no late registrations will be accepted unless there are openings on a team.

Registration forms are only available during the registration period.

Registration is open for the following programs:

  • Tackle Football
    Deadline: Monday, July 27, 2026

    Registration is now open through Monday, July 27, 2026, for the Currituck Tackle Football. Anyone registering for these teams must have reached the age of 7 prior to September 1, 2025 and must not have reached the age of 13 prior to September 1, 2026.

    Anyone on a School Football team is ineligible for play.

    There will be a registration fee of $40.00. This money will be used to provide insurance and help recover a small portion of the cost to supply and maintain the needed equipment.

    All players must provide an eligible birth certificate to participate.

      Please contact Currituck Parks and Recreation at 252-232-3007 for Household ID prior 5:00 p.m. the day of the deadline for help with online registration.
    • Mail until Monday, July 27, 2026, by sending a completed and signed registration form with the proper fee made payable to:

    • In-Person until  Monday, July 27, 2026, at the Park & Recreation office located at:
      130 Community Way
      Barco, North Carolina 27917

      Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
      Cash or Check Only.

    NOTE: Anyone registering after the deadline will have to pay a $10.00 late fee per child and will be allowed to register only if there are any opening on a team!

    No equipment will be handed out until you have paid.

    As always, coaches are needed in all age groups. Without parents willing to volunteer, there may be children who will not be able to participate. If you are willing to coach a team, please indicate in the space provided on the registration form. Remember, without you, your child may not have a coach!
