Boil Water Advisory – Launch Landing Area

Water consumers of Launch Landing  will experience an interruption in the distribution system due to water being turned off. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increases the potential for back siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system.

  • Launch Landing Road
  • Yarnes Street
  • Bray View Drive
  • Carlos Circle
  • Water Drive

Once water service is restored, all residents are advised to boil water before use for:

  • Drinking
  • Cooking
  • Brushing teeth
  • Making ice
  • Washing hands

Please bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute before using it for consumption, or use bottled water. Boiling helps eliminate potential disease-causing organisms that may be present.

The Currituck County Mainland Water Office also encourages residents to conserve water whenever possible during this time.

This Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025.
