The Veterans Mobile Office, a service provided by the office of U.S. Representative Don Davis, will be available to meet with local military veterans on Wednesday, March 12, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Cooperative Extension Center.
The mobile office will provide resources, information, and claims assistance to veterans. And, as part of a Veterans History Project, staff will also collect veterans’ stories for the Library of Congress.
The Cooperative Extension Center is located at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC, 27917.
Currituck County residents also have access to a full-time Veteran Services Officer on county staff. Rob Cain can help veterans identify and apply for benefits to which they are entitled due to their military service. Cain can be reached at robert.cain@currituckcountync.gov or 252-435-4593.
