The Currituck County Department of Senior Services will host the annual Senior Health and Wellness Day on Wednesday, October 22, at the Currituck Senior Center from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to see what the community has to offer senior citizens while gaining valuable information and resources to serve your needs.
Participants can get their flu shot and receive information from a variety of vendors on topics such as health, finances, local services, and more. Senior Health and Wellness Day will also include a “Tech Corner” to provide hands-on experience and information for the use of technology, door prizes, and a free box lunch to all registered participants.
Among the presenters, the Currituck County Veteran Services Officer, Noel Gregory, and the Currituck County Opioid Program Coordinator, Angela Lottman, will each be present. They will provide information on their respective programs and services provided to county residents.
