Currituck County residents have several upcoming opportunities to participate in Open Gym for basketball, hosted by Currituck County Parks and Recreation. Participation is free and all open gym sessions are held in the Community Center Gymnasium.
- July 8 – August 12: Adult basketball (ages 16 and older) on Tuesdays, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
- July 10 – August 14: Youth basketball (ages 9-15) on Thursdays, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
Anyone with questions may call Parks & Recreation at 252-232-3007. The Community Center Gym is located at 130 Community Way, Barco, NC, 27917. (Note: This is not the YMCA gymnasium. The Parks & Rec gymnasium is located in the rear of the building.)
