Local citizens, businesses, and community organizations may choose to help by making donations or by volunteering to help in person. The fastest way to contribute to these efforts is to send money to trusted organizations and charities that can direct the funds to the places its needed most.

Volunteering – To volunteer as an individual, family, or group, register through the North Carolina Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster.  By working through NCVOAD, you will find many opportunities in several counties that need help and you can be matched with one that best fits you.
