Currituck County will hold the 32nd annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting on Friday, December 5, 2025. This free event will be held at the NC Cooperative Extension facility at Community Park in Barco.
Festivities will begin at 6:00 pm. The Cooperative Extension will host “Reindeer Games” for children and families while serving free hot cocoa and cookies. Food trucks will also be available.
At 6:50 pm, the Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held in the courtyard between the Cooperative Extension Center and the YMCA building.
The Holiday Parade will begin at 7:00 pm. The parade’s theme is “Hometown Holidays” and will include many floats and participants. For anyone unable to attend, the parade will be livestreamed at go.ncsu.edu/ctuckparade.
