A new support group for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s will begin meeting in Currituck County this fall. Meetings will begin on September 19, 2024, and will be held on the third Thursday of each month from 10:30 – 11:30 am at the Currituck Senior Center.

A community education program will be held at the Currituck Senior Center on September 12 at 10:30 am. “Understanding & Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior” will examine common behavior changes, non-medical approaches to behaviors, and recognizing when help is needed.
