Come join us as we explore Columbia,  North Carolina and the Scuppernong River on Thursday, May 29, 2025. We will gather at Cooperative Extension – Currituck Center and depart at 9:00 a.m. for Columbia, North Carolina where we will launch the kayaks at the boat ramp. We will explore the waters and the wildlife in the area.

Pack a lunch and bring a change of clothes. We will return by 4:30 p.m. This program is for ages 8 to 14.

Registration is not complete until your child is enrolled in NC 4-H for the 2025 program year. The link to do that is https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in.

We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way, Barco, North Carolina 27917, within 5 days of registration.

Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
