The Discover 4-H series of workshops is an engaging program designed to introduce youth to the wide range of opportunities available through 4-H. These hands-on, interactive workshops cover various topics, including science, agriculture, arts, leadership, and more, allowing participants to explore their interests while building valuable skills.
Open to youth ages 5-7 and 8-10, this program allows for creative knowledge and skill development in a supportive and fun environment. Whether participants are new to 4-H or seasoned members, the workshops provide a platform for learning and personal growth, while emphasizing the 4-H motto of “Learning by Doing.” Join us each month as we explore a new topic:
Friday, April 4, 2025: This edition of Discovery 4-H is dedicated to our 4 legged friends. Participants will learn about dogs and their needs. We will have a special guest from the Currituck County Sheriff department come with his loyal companion and share what it is like to work and train with the K9 unit. We will also make homemade dog treats, to share with the animal shelter. April2025discover4H.eventbrite.com
