Names for jury duty are collected through Voter Registration and Driver’s License. Jurors are chosen through random computer selection.

To obtain a Criminal Background Check, you must personally appear in the Clerk of Court’s office and provide a picture ID. A Fee of $25.00 will be charged.

Probate is the handling a deceased person’s affairs, such as paying their bills and distributing their assets

  Select your county and then click on Submit.

The paperwork necessary for a Domestic Violence Order can be obtained at the Clerk of Court’s office or after business hours, at the Magistrate’s office.

North Carolina law governs expungements. To have a criminal record expunged, or deleted, you will need the assistance of an attorney.
