Sealed bids, will be received by Currituck County until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2020 and then publicly opened and read for:

Currituck Maritime Museum Permanent Exhibit Fabrication & Installation

The scope of work for this project will include the fabrication and installation of exhibits in the approximately 5,000 square foot Currituck Maritime Museum located at:

1140 Village Lane
Corolla, North Carolina.

Bids will be received at the front steps of:

Currituck County Historic Courthouse
153 Courthouse Road
Currituck, North Carolina  27929

until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to ensure its’ bid is received at the bid opening location.

Bids received after the designated time and date will not be accepted.

Small Business Entities, Women Owned Businesses and Minority Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The right is reserved to hold all bids for a period of sixty (60) days from the date they are opened.

Pre-Bid Meeting

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for all interested bidders at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday,  September 29, 2020 at the:

Whalehead in Historic Corolla
1100 Club Road
Corolla, North Carolina, 27927.

Attendance at the pre-bid meeting IS NOT required for bid submission.

Please Note: Attendees to the pre-bid meeting are required to bring and wear masks, safety goggles, safety vests, and hard hats to gain access to the meeting and site.

Request Contract Documents

The Contract Documents, including Contract Drawings and Specifications, will be available on Friday, September 18, 2020.

Printed copies of the Contract Documents and Drawings are not available. Access to digital copies in PDF format will be provided to prime bidders only by contacting the Exhibit Designer in writing via email. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to confirm the Exhibit Designer has received the request for copies of the Contract Documents.
