Update: Board of Commissioners voted to award the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) contract to Fire Protection Equipment Company (MSA) for $1,094,500.
Currituck County was awarded an Assistance to Firefighter (AFG) grant from FEMA for new SCBAs for all fire departments that operate in Currituck County, this will standardize fire equipment for more effective fire ground operations. The County of Currituck is requesting bids from qualified Offerors to provide Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Equipment and Accessories for use within the Fire Department to respond to various incidents within the surrounding areas.
All communications and proposals MUST be submitted in a sealed envelope no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

The responsibility for getting the bid response to the Currituck County Fire & EMS Department Office on or before the specified time and date is solely and strictly the responsibility of the submitting Offeror.
