and then opened and publicly read for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work connected with: Southern Parallel Taxiway as indicated in the plans and specifications dated May 2015.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the:
Currituck County Regional Airport
Airport Conference Room
264 Airport Road
Maple, North Carolina 27956.
Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is NOT mandatory, however is strongly recommended.
The project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work required to satisfactorily complete the Parallel Taxiway project. Items of work include:
- demolition (pavement, structure, utility, fence),
- clearing and grubbing,
- earthwork,
- grading,
- drainage pipe installation,
- edge drain installation,
- waterline installation,
- erosion control,
- fence installation,
- aggregate base course placement,
- bituminous paving,
- paint striping,
- taxiway edge light installation,
- seeding and mulching.
