2025 Sheriff’s Summer Camp Program: Celebrating Our 7th Annual Camp Experience!
We are excited to announce the return of our Sheriff’s Summer Camp for its 7th year! Over the past six years, we’ve had the privilege of offering free summer camp experiences to 60-90 local children each year. This year, we’re thrilled to bring back our signature two-week camps for high school and middle school students.
For the first time in six years, we are also introducing a one-week summer camp designed specifically for 5th graders. This new addition allows even more young people in our community to join in on the fun, learning, and adventure that the Sheriff’s Summer Camp provides.
We can’t wait to welcome the next generation of campers and provide them with a safe, exciting, and educational experience that will create lasting memories. Join us for an unforgettable summer!
Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Sheriff’s Youth Summer Camp. As a community stakeholder, Sheriff Matthew Beickert utilizes School Resource Officers to provide life enrichment, career enrichment, and build positive relationships between Law Enforcement Officers and Currituck County youth.
Campers will be assigned to summer camp based on the grade level they have completed by the time their application is submitted. Students who have completed 6th-8th grade should apply for the middle school camp, while those who have completed 9th-12th grade should apply for the high school camp. Students who have completed 5th grade will attend the 5th grade camp.
