Currituck County rescinded the local State of Emergency and mandatory evacuation for the Off-Road Area of Corolla, at 12:00 pm on Friday, August 22, 2025.
The Carova Beach Convenience Center will be remain closed on Friday until further notice. Staff needs time to assess any damages and ensure access to the facility.
The regularly-scheduled Friday trash collection in Corolla (August 22) will be postponed until Monday, August 25.
